World Prematurity Day 2019

World Prematurity Day 2019

Each year in the United States, 1 in 10 babies is born prematurely. Being born too soon can lead to a lifetime of disabilities. This is a heartbreaking reality for too many families. Celebration Obstetrics and Gynecology supports the March of Dimes organization which organizes special efforts to support families facing the health challenges associated with Premature Deliveries.

The March of Dimes is hard at work funding groundbreaking research, education, advocacy, and community programs to help give each baby the chance to survive and thrive. Please join us this month to raise awareness and get involved in some exciting activities planned for World Prematurity Day on November 17.

The March for Babies, Polk County and March for Babies, Orlando are each hosting a fundraising walk in April 2020 and are looking for volunteers, donors, and participants. For more information on ways to become involved, please visit their website at www.marchforbabies.org.

For additional information on premature delivery concerns, please be sure to talk to your provider! Give us a call at 407-566-BABY.
